private india tour – designed by peta

I am very excited to be collaborating with luxury travel company India Beat. We have put together an incredible, curated itinerary, designed by me that takes you to all of my favourite places in India.

I’ve been enchanted by India for a very long time and have hosted group tours with India Beat since 2014. Now I am offering this curated bespoke journey – be very ready for ten days of fabulous sensory overload in four destinations India. There are two options – buy the tour as is from India Beat with a local guide – or for an additional fee – I can accompany and host your tour.

This trip takes you to the very different locations of Jaipur, Goa, Kolkata and Darjeeling. India is a land of extremes and this tour encompasses spicy cooking lessons, shopping, magical candle lit feasts, camel cart rides, farm and villages visits, accommodation in old palaces and sumptuous resorts. You have the opportunity to try fabric block printing in Jaipur, cook with coconut and seafood in the beach paradise of Goa, enjoy a Bengali feast in a beautiful heritage apartment in Kolkata and learn how to taste and grade tea in Darjeeling.

The starting price for this trip is USD 6,138 per person for 11 nights/12 days and includes internal flights, accommodation, private guiding, special access opportunities and most meals. The trip can be booked at any time, the best time to travel is between October and April. Please contact India Beat direct to make an enquiry and see the detailed itinerary.

We absolutely loved every single minute of India. The food was divine... every single meal... dinners at the stunning homes of your friends and everything in between... from the desert food at Diggi farm to the gorgeous pinkness of the Raj Mahal. I really loved that Tibetan chicken noodle soup on the last night.... and the pork at the picnic. So many yummy memories. So thank you so much Peta, a very well planned & executed taste of India ending in complete luxury at Glenburn... gorgeous people, scenery, tranquility... ah... the bed tea!

India was always on my to-do-one-day list and without your inspiration we may never have come to enjoy and experience this amazing country. Your tour was fabulous - fun, informative and just totally enjoyable. We enjoyed your company and your beautiful singing! We are still awe struck in amazement thinking of the sights and places we visited.
