Puglia / Italy

Welcome to perfect Puglia in Southern Italy, where we discover this
agricultural and cultural secret paradise.

One of southern Italy's best kept secrets – Puglia is sea breezes, lovely beaches, sensationally fresh and varied seafood, robust pastas and breads. They make so much olive oil and good wine here that everyone is good looking and happy.

This is a sunny land of sweet people, unbelievable seafood, heady wines and very old olive groves. We spend half the week in the Baroque city of Lecce and the other half in a gorgeous masseria in the countryside to learn about burrata, orrecchiette and semolina bread.

You don’t know how much you miss Puglia till you leave it then you long to return to their gentle ways and honest food.

Important: For this tour you should be of a reasonable level of fitness with no mobility issues.

Our mission has always been to provide really authentic gastronomic and cultural experiences, far from the well-trodden tourist circuits and into the homes, restaurants and kitchens of people with real food soul.

We sample everything, from the chic to the humble because... variety is the spice of life!  As usual the most difficult task has been to choose between all those delicious recipes... those tempting wines... those magical interiors... those overflowing markets... Someone's got to do it - why not you? I hope you can join us.

We had an absolutely fabulous time wandering around Puglia. The weather, food and company was outstanding – we couldn’t have asked for much more.

How to change your approach to cooking!! Enjoying your Puglia tour in Southern Italy has certainly rejuvenated my approach to shopping and cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience in Italy, the relaxed pace, the group of people, the priveliged experiences of local food and food production, the opportunity to learn from the locals and be introduced to so many traditions. Additionally it was a travel and cultural experience, all in all the balance of tourism, socialising, immersion in culture and cooking, eating and drinking was perfect!
